About 3RC

3rc was originally set up in the summer of 2007; we were a loose mix of people of all ages
who raced at the old football clubs function room. Since then we have grown to a club of
18 drivers in two leagues.

When the old football ground was closed by the council we had to relocate,
happily the Mortimer social club gave us a new home even though they had reservations
about cars racing on their shiny dance floor. After an initial night when they saw we raced on
a proper RCP track and the floor was safe, we agreed to race there on a regular basis. In the
beginning we only raced for fun and pride, but since the league was set up we have gone
from strength to strength.

In the future we hope to raise enough interest to start thinking of our own clubhouse with a
permanent track.
