3RC Leagues

OK the interesting part, we run two leagues of nine drivers ( although this can and will extend),
the leagues run for approximately five months with a break for the summer and crimbo.

The top three drivers from the championship league are promoted to the premiership each
season, with the bottom three drivers of the premiership being relegated to the championship.

The top three drivers of both leagues receive a trophy, with everyone getting a medal with their
final position engraved upon it. This is done on presentation night where there is also
a disco and food. If you join mid season you start on zero points but believe me you can quickly
climb the table, (if you are good!).

The points system works like this, each race night every driver has three,
three minute races,( hence the name 3rc ) with four drivers each race, 1st receives 4 points,
2nd receives 3 points, 3rd 2 points and 4th 1 point.

The only time you don’t pick up points is if you don’t turn up! If you don’t turn up for four weeks
running without a good excuse you will be removed from the league.

There is no handicapping, you race what you bring as long as it is 1/28th scale.
However speed is not everything, control is the key,
just because you have a fast car does not mean you will be fastest around the track,
a slow car that keeps off the barriers can and regularly does beat so called fast cars.
